When the weather finally drops low enough that we can no longer pretend it’s fall, minds quickly turn to winter vacations that will turn up the heat. Below are some of the best winter getaways to take as a couple, from the deeply romantic to the sultry and sexy. So pick your favourite, pack your bags and discover the abundant delights around the world!
Havana, Cuba

Marrakesh, Morocco
For fans of classic cinema, Casablanca may be the siren song of romantic travel, but many may be disappointed by how modern the city is today. You can also arrange a tour of the Majorelle Gardens, home to the Marrakesh Museum of Islamic Art and owned by the late designer Yves St. Laurent.
Many visitors are concerned about their ability to stay together in a single room while traveling in Morocco. While most tourists are lenient, it’s best to clarify this with your hotel before booking, and if you’re really worried (and you can) bring a photocopy of your marriage certificate.
The Bahamas
We really couldn’t pick one particular part of the Bahamas that is the best, as traveling there (especially in the winter) can accommodate so many different couples. The outer islands promise the romantic, secluded tranquility of a tropical paradise, but if you’re looking for excitement during the Christmas holidays, Nassau is where you want to be.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA
Not every winter getaway needs to be in warmer climates, and Jackson Hole is perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery of a winter wonderland. Not only are you close enough to take a day trip to see Yellowstone Park’s geysers (which see about 90% fewer visitors in January than in the summer months), but it also has abundant wildlife and mountain scenery. It is known for its clear night sky for stargazing, which you can do on a sleigh ride or during night skiing. However, it is very cold, so we would forgo outdoor sex in this case to relax in your private hot tub back at the hotel.
