Are you interested, excited and possibly confused about which sex coaching certification to choose? Understood!
There are tons of options out there, all promising you a quick way to jump into your dream career and change people’s sex lives and relationships, all while charging a lot of money for it. As someone who has completed a number of other sex coaching certifications and experienced it firsthand, I wanted to say why I highly recommend VITA.
When I thought about joining Layla Martin’s program, I studied with the Somatica Institute, International Institute for Sexological Bodywork, Tao Tantric Arts, Shakti Malan and Michaela Boehm. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest in another education and it took me over 2 years to commit.
So what inspired me to join?
- I’ve been on Layla’s email list for years, and time and again, the depth, wisdom, and vulnerability she brought to the table was something I looked for in a teacher. - Eventually, I joined the monthly subscription VITA Sacred Sexuality which offered weekly online classes exploring the topics of pleasure, relationships, female empowerment, emotional intelligence, sacred sexuality and money. Seeing how well designed this container was and how much value was offered gave me a good idea of what the VITA sexual guidance certification would be like.
- When I looked at the testimonials of VITA graduates, what stood out to me was how many of them reported that in just the first quarter of training, they got enough value from the program that they would consider it worth the investment.

Here’s what stood out for me in the VITA sex coach certification compared to other trainings I’ve taken:
- A unique and consistent coaching methodology based on the principles of neuroscience, modern psychology and biology, combined with the ancient wisdom of Tantric and Taoist teachings. During the second trimester, we experienced first-hand the healing and transformation that the VITA approach offered (as one of the certification requirements is to be peer-led.)
- The amount of information, resources, live lessons and support we received was unprecedented. In fact, I have enough material to study and use in my coaching practice for years to come. At no point did I feel like Layla was holding anything back. This program offered weekly personal coaching support calls, business development calls, the opportunity to email staff or ask a question in a forum and get an answer the same day.
- In addition to Leila, we were taught by four other subject matter experts and, during the first two terms, we had weekly “office hours” calls with our assigned teacher.
- We watched Layla and other teachers mentor students every week for 6 months and it was really helpful to see the mentoring methodology in action. We also had the opportunity to volunteer and be mentored.
- During the second term, we could practice our coaching skills on live calls and get feedback from the teachers.
- This training offered the most comprehensive professional training of any other program I attended. Term 3 included the Business Bootcamp and business workshops on sales, content creation, email marketing, pricing, defining your niche, podcasting, using TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook ads and more.
- The program was incredibly well designed and run: from lesson reminder emails and all calls to fast email support to a very well organized online platform, lessons start on time. I have not seen this level of attention to detail in any other sex coaching certification I have taken.
- I joined early, so in addition to a monthly payment plan, I had access to 3 months of classes (before the basic training started) and one of Layla’s signature programs (you’ll get to choose between Crystal Pleasure, Men’s Sexual Mastery, or Obliss.) I especially appreciated the comprehensive workshops and resources on the topic of money and wealth consciousness.
- The training included workshops from externally invited experts on trauma, LGBTQ+, pelvic floor anatomy and anti-racism.
- Finally, in the past, I’ve had teachers hand out guidance and communication tools only to abandon them all the moment a student asked for a refund. In a similar situation here, I saw Layla come across with kindness, compassion, and integrity, and that’s the kind of teacher I want: one I can feel safe and trust when difficult situations arise.
